The
Surrey Knights Swim Club (SKSC) is a community
orientated, volunteer run, professionally
coached, non-profit competitive swim club.
SKSC
is registered
under the B.C. Societies Act and
sanctioned by FINA,
Swim
Canada, and
Swim
BC
.
The
Surrey Knights Swim Club is a full service
competitive swim club. Our programs are for all swimmers over the age of 6 years, including able bodied,
disabled, and special needs. Each year the club
provides swimming programs for girls, boys, men,
and women, at the introductory, age group, and
senior levels.
Surrey
Knights membership fluctuates slightly from year
to year, and is currently 110 members.
The
Surrey
Knights
mission statement is “Creating the
opportunity to achieve excellence in life
through swimming.”, and our motto is
“Quest for Excellence.”. These
values can be seen in every aspect of our club
from the pride and disciple of the athletes, to
the methods of instruction used by the coaches.

The
Surrey Knights Swim Club has been an integral
part of our community since the clubs formation
in 1973 at the North Surrey Recreation Centre.
Over
the years Surrey Knights swimmers have held
Provincial Records, National Records, and World
Records.
During
the past years the Surrey Knights have had
swimmers represented our community at BC
“AA” Provincial Trials, BC “AAA”
Provincial Championships, Junior Nationals, and
Nationals for Swimmers with a Disability, Senior
Nationals, Paralympic, and Deaflympics.

SKSC
offers Introductory and Competitive swimming
programs. These programs are also complemented
with a variety of clinics, guest speakers, and
camps throughout the year.
Programs
are open to all swimmers over the age of 6 years
who can complete 50m of over arm front crawl
(Red Cross Aquaquest 6 or equivalent level).
The
coaches strive to create an environment that
promotes individuals reaching their potential
… whether you are novice or experienced, young
or old, male or female, able bodied or disabled.
